Christine A. Murow holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Susquehanna University, where she attended on a full academic scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1967. She taught piano privately for almost 40 years before retiring.
During those years, she also served as a Music Theory Chairman for music teacher groups in her home state, Maryland. She then had the idea to build KITS, offering music theory books and annual exams through the mail.
She is the composer of student-level piano pieces, published in the collections “Sounds for One Hand” and “Voices of Invention,” and is also listed in the “Who's Who of American Women, Millennium Edition.”
